Account Manager
EPIC is looking for a passionate and experienced Account Manager eager to reach new heights with like-minded pixel lovers.
Do you get excited by helping brands transform the way they interact with their users? Figuring out clever and creative solutions to make the most of your client’s budget?
Then you might want to keep reading…

Who you are
You love technology, communication, creativity and everything in between. We’re not looking for a blood-shark salesperson willing to sell anything to anyone, we need someone deeply interested in our sector and in the services our agency can offer to our clients.
You know your way across pivot tables and Google Sheet shenanigans + you feel at home in a Keynote presentation. A crisp & dynamic budget table and a “we’re-an-organic-crypto-silicon-valley-startup-looking-for-seed-money” looking keynote are common deliverables for you.
You know about AI. We know you know about AI. You know we know you know about AI…and that’s great. We need someone who can leverage these tools to improve their outputs and speed-up tasks with lower added value…If you rely 100% on Open-AI, Claude and Deepseek to draft your strategic proposals (or to write your cover letter for this job post), press “cmd/ctrl +W” right now.
You are a dynamic speaker and people don’t fall asleep listening to you. This doesn’t mean you speak FAST…it means you speak WELL and choose the right words to tell mind-blowing stories.
Oh by the way, you can speak & write fluently in French and English (at least). The minimum required level is a C1 in both of these languages and pleeeaase don’t say you’re a native speaker in your resume if you weren’t actually raised in said languages… Oh, and if you can spot a few of the mistakes intentionally (🙄) left in this job description, you will already show a great mastery of the english language.
And most of all you are a real human being…musicien, runner, weight-lifter, amateur chef, or any other sort of passionate person ! So please have a life outside the office so that your colleagues don’t feel bad about not having a sleeping bag at the agency.
Who you work with
You will work with all profiles at the agency: designers, developers, project managers, office manager, team-leads and management. But you will have a tighter-knit work relationship with a few profiles in particular.
Account managers
Your core team. Without a doubt the best team of the agency. Small (4 people) but mighty (strength +1.000, at least), the AM team works in a very collaborative way. Far from low-blows and internal competition, the account managers work hand in hand towards the same goal: Thinking through and advocating for technically complex & ambitious (and creative) projects for our clients.
Daily meetings, prospection strategies, Keynote creation, (pasta al ragù lunches), pitch rehearsals…you will spend a lot of time working together on all that. So being a team-player isn’t just a “plus”, it’s most definitely mandatory.
Project managers
Not all agencies make a difference between Account manager and Project managers…but we do. They are your alter-ego for daily project and client management and you will handle client accounts with them on a daily basis. PM’s are the Yin to your Yang, the A/B to your testing, the click to your CTA…you get the picture, you will work closely together. Now don’t be scared, but there are quite a few more project managers than there are Account managers at EPIC (that’s just because Account Managers are more efficient), so you will face numerous combinations of AM/PM duos and it will be part of your job to squeeze the best out of every single one of them (to be fair, they are all very likeable and professional).
Production teams
Just because you are one of the tips of the EPIC Iceberg for our clients doesn’t mean you won’t have to interact with the production teams…far from it. Who do you think will help you make realistic estimates for a given mission ? And who do you think will help you explain how a headless CMS works and how to plug a custom-built ATS to a client ? THESE GUYS! When we said you are in for a collaborative workflow, we meant it! Without them, you can’t sell anything, and without you, they don’t have anything to work on…as simple as that.
Management and leads
Better not talk about these guys here… #kidding

EPIC = Imagine, Build, Tell.
You can identify with our moto in some way.
You are excited to join a 100% independent agency with a clear strategy, paying attention to how we do things and focused on delivering high-value services to ambitious clients while remaining mindful of the impact we have on our economic environment and on the planet ( Ecovadis Silver certified and B-CORP soon-to-be-certified).
Your ideas help start-ups grow, make giant dinosaur brands become more agile, and can even convince a 60+ years old Board of Directors that digital communication is a must to survive in 2025.
Throughout your career (3/4+ years in relevant position), you’ve either worked in an agency and learnt how to select the right touch points to engage your clients’ audiences, or you’ve worked on the client side and managed to put together amazing projects backed up with tidious analytic data monitoring (or a mix of both).
Then chances are you will want to know more details about the job.
Daily Job
Your job is probably one of the most exciting, challenging and diversified at EPIC. And every day will be a bit different from the others…
But what is certain is that you’ll have to listen to and understand various client requests, respond with a strategic vision and challenge their demands.
At EPIC, we don’t want to sell what our clients want, we want to sell them what they really need. To get there, you’ll gather the most suitable team members to help you decide on the best solution, estimate the workload and define the most accurate strategy.
- You brainstorm with your colleagues, regularly asking for their input, and spontaneously giving yours.
- You research and find relevant metrics linked to your clients’ challenges and markets.
- You brief your project manager colleagues, plan kick-off meetings, and keep a constant eye on the projects metrics.
But wait…THERE IS MORE! The other half of your time is spent with your clients and prospects.
- You advise them, answer their questions, address their problems and make them dream.
- You prepare great keynotes, write engaging offers and present them with enthusiasm.
- You find new business opportunities by actioning efficient prospective strategies (“cold calling” is not our jam…)
- You network, communicate, take part in digital events and trainings.
Your work involves a lot of interaction with colleagues, clients and the wider community so an engaging and forthcoming personality is a must for this position (it doesn’t mean you have to talk loudly wherever you go).
Benefits of the position
We know packages are a big part of the equation and are very comfortable with the discussion around it. So here is a recap of what the benefits are that come with the position :
- A competitive salary aligned with your experience and our industry (We know you wanted to see an actual figure here but it just depends on too many factors to provide a realistic figure here).
- A Company laptop for you to take home (Meaning you can watch White Lotus on it, not meaning you have to work after business hours)
- A company cell phone and a cell phone plan
- Monthly food vouchers
- Yearly Eco vouchers to buy plants or train tickets (for as long as our government lets us provide them to our staff🙄)
- Mobility plans
- A Health insurance (DKV baby)
- Flexible work schedule (no, it doesn’t mean you can come in whenever you want; but you won’t be yelled at for not sitting at your desk at 8.30 sharp)
- Remote work once a week
- 13th month salary
- Yearly holiday pay
- A yearly bonus according to the agency’s financial results
- Chocolate at Saint-Nicolas and Easter (if you have been good)
- Free drinks and snacks and coffee (but we know this has become standard..but we even have healthy snacks like local fruit baskets and fresh soup, HA!)
- A pretty comfortable work environment with super modern and cosy offices (lots of light, a proper cafeteria with a kitchen, a cinema room, real plants fighting for their lives etc, check out our blog entry about it here)

Then we’d love to hear from you ! Click on the link below and send your resume and why you feel like you would be a good fit. We can’t believe we have to put this in writing but you wouldn’t believe what we see in job applications so please don’t:
- Copy-paste the cover letter you are sending to all other prospective job posts and leave another company’s name on it
- Feed the url of this page to an AI and ask it to write a cover letter for you…and forget to remove the “Anything else I can help you with ?Do you want me to create a pdf document ready to send to the company and give it a professional, yet relaxed look ?” at the end of the message
