The Fall-Winter 2016 lookbook of Scabal was rich and sophisticated. The atmosphere was luxurious, and the story that shaped the whole concept was rooted in a clandestine boxing club of London, loaded with dust and smoke.
Scabal wanted the website to ingeniously reflect this universe while keeping in mind the right balance between a refined approach and a strong art direction.
Not made by accident
Being the best in crafting suits and fabrics is a long journey that started in 1938. Scabal has a strong heritage that needed to be felt from the first second when visiting the website.
The homepage needed to showcase the different facets of Scabal in a very quick, immersive way. This is how we came up with a scroll based-homepage that would display progressively what Scabal is made of, where they come from, and why they are the best tailors in the world.
Made to last
Since the release of the website, EPIC has been supporting the digital strategy of Scabal and kept on developing new features to enhance the global experience.
From the beginning, Scabal has been clear about the final purpose of the website : it is not meant to be a one-shot “show me how many fancy effects you can add per square pixel” website but an effective, evolutive and maintainable one.
This resulted in enabling the team of Scabal to update the website autonomously and their last Winter-Fall 2016 collection more specifically.
